This site carries advertising
Glad2BHome is supported by advertising. Ads on this site are served by third-party advertising technology, which means the specific ads you see are selected by that technology and not chosen by our editors. Advertising units are visually distinct from editorial content and are labeled as advertising.
Editorial separation
This is the part that matters, and we hold it strictly:
- Advertisers do not review, approve, or see content before publication.
- No advertiser may request the addition, removal, or alteration of editorial content.
- Editors are not compensated based on advertising revenue or ad performance.
- Our editors do not select which advertisers appear on the site.
- We publish content critical of practices in industries that advertise here whenever the facts warrant it.
- Coverage decisions are made on reader usefulness, never on advertising potential.
What we will not do
- We do not publish sponsored articles, paid guest posts, or paid link placements.
- We do not sell links, and requests to purchase them are declined.
- We do not run ads designed to look like editorial content or navigation.
- We do not run pop-ups, interstitials that block content, auto-playing audio, or countdown timers.
- We do not place ads inside the calculators or between the steps of a checklist.
- We do not accept advertising for products we would not describe accurately in an article.
Advertising and your data
Third-party advertising involves cookies and similar technologies, and may involve personalized advertising based on your browsing. Our privacy policy sets out what is collected and by whom.
Affiliate and partnership links
We may earn revenue from a small number of clearly labeled partnerships. Where a link is commercial, it is disclosed on the page it appears. Partnership revenue does not influence what we cover, what we recommend, or the order in which anything appears.
Real estate services
Glad2BHome is not a brokerage, lender, or insurance producer. We do not collect or sell consumer leads. Where we suggest connecting with a professional, we do not receive a fee tied to that connection unless it is explicitly disclosed on the page.
